Cathedral of Christ  the king, Mullingar

This is the beautiful wedding of Matthew and Sinead that we photographed in the Cathedral of Christ the King, Mullingar. I have to admit this was one of my favourite weddings to shot so far as it was so intimate with just a handful of guests made up of family and close friends. The bride made her entrance from the side door and wow was she stunning to be greeted by her handsome husband-to-be and guests on the altar. As it was an intimate wedding all the guests were seated on the altar which was a really nice added touch and added to the closeness of the ceremony. The ceremony was being held late in the day which i'll admit had me wondering why they would pick such a late time but it all made sense when the bride and groom stayed for the mass afterwards as the mass was being held for the grooms father who had passed recently. Ill must admit i was full of emotion that day as it also marked the 4th year anniversary of my own father's passing so it was like it was destiny that we were supposed to be there for Matthew and Sinead on such a special day. Congratulations again guys xxx.
